66 per cent Indian Americans favour Joseph Biden as the next President

New Delhi: As many as 66 per cent of Indian Americans currently favour Democrat Presidential candidate Joseph Biden, and 28 per cent favor President Donald Trump, with both Democratic and Republican parties reaching out to this increasingly influential voting bloc for the 2020 presidential election, says Indiaspora, the leading diaspora body of the Indian American community. A joint report released by Indiaspora and AAPI (publisher of demographic data and policy research on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in USA) on Indian American voters’ attitudes in the upcoming 2020 U.S. presidential election documents the strengthening political power of the Indian American electorate in the U.S. due to factors such as their rapidly growing population and increased political participation.
